Haiti
Strenghts
- We work with a group of 30 young volunteers who support us in all our different activities. Many of these young people are former beneficiaries of the organization and often give examples of their experiences to current young beneficiaries.
- The members and leaders of the organization are professionals who devote themselves free to the organization out of a love for the most vulnerable.
- We support vulnerable families while encouraging them to have an activity to ensure the family's income. Support is given in this sense so that we have families as an example for others.
- Team spirit and good leadership
Long Term Plan
In the long term, KOCLAT will triple the number of beneficiaries and offer better education to many more children in Haiti.
Our different programs will also be repeated in all the 10 departments of the country.
We also aim to support young graduates to guarantee their careers ...

Description
KOCLAT is a non-profit organization legally registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MAST) as well as the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) in Haiti. It currently supports more than 800 families in several municipalities in the departments of the West, Grand-Anse and South. KOCLAT comes to the aid of poor and vulnerable families and orphaned children and helps them get their education. Through the various KOCLAT programs, we aim for the same objective based on 3 strategic elements: education, child protection and the development of family income. In Haiti, poverty pushes many parents to send their children to work. Girls are even less educated than boys. Education is one of the fundamental rights we fight for because we believe that quality education is the only way to break the vicious cycle of marginalization, poverty, violence and exclusion.
