Description
Strength in Unity Global: A Haitian Coalition (SIUG) is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We are a group of women who are dedicated to the service of poor children and families. We are registered in Haiti under Nouvelle Alliance Haitienne pour le Developpement (NAHADE) NIF-000-694-718-2.
Our focus is community development, spiritual guidance and support; workforce and academic development; health education and nutrition; housing, and farming. We provide financial help to children for primary school education, teens, and young adults to trade schools and universities. We have five full-time employees and multiples per diem employees.
We provide support for home placement to undomicile individuals (rent), health drives, and education. Community organizing and support through the Church (health, food, family emergencies); summer camp for children with meals, games, and fun time; yearly seniors Christmas party, Help community vendors with capital and micro-financing.
We have Eglise de la Nouvelle Alliance d'Haiti de Terrier Rouge and l'Eglise de la Nouvelle Alliance de Dajabon, DR. We Occupy many hectares of rented government land through NAHADE.
