Description
The number of Haitians living abroad (the diaspora) is increasing faster and faster every day. While this is good for the individuals who have to leave because most of the times they are looking for a better future for their loved ones, the country itself is suffering a lot from this situation. The future of Haiti seems to be outside. In an effort to encourage Haitians living abroad to do something for their mother land, Kenol Aris, PhD, has founded this organization in 2009. Many friends, Haitians and non-Haitians who share the same belief are working very hard to make this dream come true. And because there is so much to do for the country, friends of Haiti regardless of their race, religion or social status and anyone who believes in helping others are also welcome to join the organization.
We truly believe that a new Haiti is still possible if we, Haitians, truly want it.
